In our Los Angeles market, we are on the lookout for a dedicated Senior Sales Associate. This role is pivotal in driving our business forward, particularly within Public & Social Impact industry verticals (e.g., city/local government, higher education, non-profit, etc.). We are open to hiring at either Sales Associate or Senior Sales Associate-level, based on candidate experience. You'll collaborate closely with our sales team to cultivate a robust, profitable, and expanding portfolio of business opportunities.



What You'll Do



The individual in this role will help identify opportunities in the market with target clients and will partner closely with our selling teams to qualify and advance deals. Successful candidates must thrive in a people-based, corporate culture and be passionate about identifying new client opportunities and growing the Slalom brand amongst Los Angeles County's brands.


  • Support marketing and demand generation efforts aligned to focus industry

  • Partner with global industry market teams on email campaigns

  • Collaborate with selling teams and support pursuit motions aligned to focus industry

  • Understand relevant core industry and stays up to date on key topics

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Slalom capabilities and value proposition

  • Drive/lead digital industry demand generation initiatives (e.g., lead generation) in partnership with global industry, and market teams (e.g., practices and marketing, etc.)

  • Make recommendations to improve existing processes and explore innovative solutions, particularly within lead generation and account research

  • Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales openings

  • Maintain a self-starter attitude while creating outreach strategies for new lead generation methods

  • Conduct lead generation activities via phone, email, campaigns, LinkedIn, events, etc.

  • Update and maintain customer information within Salesforce.com to include detailed call notes that illustrate a firm understanding of the opportunity with clearly defined next steps

  • Conduct analysis on Slalom, our clients, industry trends, and use insights to target and influence buyers

  • Work to develop best practices within lead generation and research

  • Measured on activity and impact to revenue

  • May help coordinate the alliance relationship


What You'll Bring



  • 5+ years of relevant experience in selling to local or city government, with a preference for those with a background in consulting or technology sales.

  • A strong passion for sales and technology.

  • Excellent collaboration and team-building skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.

  • A proven ability to build strong relationships, both internally and with clients.

Compensation and Benefits



Slalom prides itself on helping team members thrive in their work and life. Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $74,000 to $111,000 for Sales Associate and $96,000 to $144,000 for Senior Sales Associate. In addition, individuals may be eligible for quarterly and annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
