Your Next Career Opportunity – Network Solutions Architect
The Network Solutions Architect will be responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, planning, and architecture of wireless communications systems such as Wi-Fi, Private 4G or 5G Networks, DAS, Small Cells, and/or Public Safety infrastructure to deliver secure and reliable solutions.
What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements to develop and deliver technical network solutions.
Develop and design network architecture to support wireless solutions. Provide high-level technical support for wireless and wired network systems.
Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure the smooth operation of network infrastructure.
Develops/maintains technical and business knowledge of industry directions and trends.
Matches customer pain points and requirements to proposed solutions.
Identifies gaps in architecture and system solution design, provides options and recommendations for addressing them, and follows through on remediations by updating the appropriate design documents.
Support the Business Development team with Responding to general inquiries and RFPs, evaluating technical requirements, qualifying custom design and development opportunities, and proposing creative solutions that match customer requirements.
Supports the Network Engineering Solutions team with integration and configuration during deployment if needed.
Other projects and duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field of study.
5 - 10 years of proven experience as a Network Engineer/Architect or a similar role in designing and managing complex networks.
10 years of experience designing LAN/WAN/Wireless solutions for large enterprises.
10 years of experience with IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, RIP) in a large enterprise environment.
Experience with the configuration of the Ruckus series of Routers/Switches/Wireless Controllers.
Solid understanding of wireless survey tools.
Proven knowledge of developing HLDs/LLDs.
Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills.
Experience creating and/or updating technical design documentation used by engineering teams.
Experience with Microsoft Office and Visio Professional.
Must be self-driven and able to work with little supervision and direction.
Strong understanding of QoS configurations to support the WAN and enterprise standards.
Strong understanding of the following routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, RIP, and EIGRP.
Strong understanding of the following: HSRP, DHCP Snooping, NAC, DSCP, NAT/SNAT, TCP/IP, Multicast, Ethernet, RADIUS AAA, and Firewall Configuration.
Strong familiarity with the following WAN technologies: Carrier-provided MPLS VPN connectivity and SD-WAN solutions deployed on DIA transport.
Python/Ansible/Terraform scripting experience a plus.
Comfortable working in a Linux environment.
Private 4G or 5G experience a plus.
Proven experience with multiple system integrations is a must.
