Job Description:

Read, interpret, and analyze content from customer or designer drawings and specificationsProduct design execution through proof of concept testing, 3D modeling, and analysisUnderstand blueprints/drawings (interpretation and creation)Responsible for creation and accuracy of data and manufacturing drawingsDefine operational processes & determine material requirements utilizing ERP systemCollaborate regularly with manufacturing personnel to define and solve issuesManage on-time prototype and production builds with manufacturingProvide guidance and feedback to customers and designersDrive and support root cause analysisConduct design and engineering appearance reviewsMaintain accurate BOMs for productionWrite and implement ECRs; support the implementation of product changes in manufacturing facilitiesProvide technical consultation internally to sales and marketing personnel and externally to customersIdentify and lead process improvements and cost containment initiativesAbility to travel as needed for the purpose of visiting customers and designers (currently expected to be 10% or less)Perform other duties as may be assigned at managements discretion
