KMEA is an environmental, energy, engineering and sustainability (E3S) consulting company providing professional engineering, scientific, and technical services to our clients throughout the United States and internationally. We are seeking a Certified Construction Manager to work on-site at Edward R. Roybal Federal Building in Los Angeles, California. Working at this location is a requirement for the job.
Main Responsibilities
Establishes and maintains proper business-like relations with representatives of the GSA Project Delivery Team, the occupants and other project participants. Oversees technical and administrative activities for design-build project to upgrade HVAC at Roybal Federal Building, Los Angeles, CA.
Key responsibilities:
Review and approve drawings as design reviewers. Provide design review and suggestions for correcting errors. Assist the Government in providing direction and control of design and construction phase activities. Manage the inspections of physical work performance and installations of materials/components. Follows company safety standards and site safety standards. Understands and adheres to company policies. Prepare cost estimates. Review and prepare invoices. Performs most assignments independently but consults with others and receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems. Plans work and meets deadlines without supervisor action.
