Summary of Role: The Program Communication Manager position sits within the Transformation Enablement Office (TEO) of Program Phoenix. The individual will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive communication strategy (internal and external) to facilitate effective communication for change initiatives and programs.
About Program Phoenix: Program Phoenix is a multi-year initiative that has been established to create a real-time enterprise built on a common data model, global processes, and seamless data flow, enabling operational efficiency and scalability. The Program will involve a green field implementation of S/4 HANA.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develops a clear and cohesive communication strategy for the business/technology transformation that supports successful implementation of change initiatives.
- Defines key messages, target audiences and appropriate communication channels within the TEO and broader firm.
- Collaborates closely with the TEO, and program and change management leaders to create and deliver effective communications for the company.
- Collaborate with Change Management Leaders and Product Owners to ideate, coordinate, document, review, seek approval of tactical and strategic communications in support of GFs strategic imperatives.
- Develops and distributes communications that keep employees informed about the transformation program, crafting consistent messaging about the change journey, addressing potential concerns.
- Research, interview SMEs, writes and edit communication materials including emails, presentations, infographics, scrips, talking points FAQs and other relevant communication artifacts.
- Manages external communication related to change initiatives, including press releases, media statements and communications with customers and vendors.
- Manage weekly / monthly deliverables supporting:
- Weekly Change Messaging for assigned program.
- Ad hoc tactical messaging based on immediate business needs.
- Monthly All Hands / Leader Tool Kit (Deck, Talking Points, FAQ)
- Inventory of Available Channel / Tactics / Audience with descriptions and recommended use.
- Communication governance framework
- Ensures that all external messaging is aligned with the company's values and branding.
- Develops and implements crisis communication plans for change initiatives addressing any potential issues or resistance to the transformation.
- Handles sensitive matters with transparency and professionalism.
Other Responsibilities:
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, change management or a related field
- 6+ years of relevant experience in professional environments
- Proven experience in communications, change management or a related field
- Proven experience with leading change management efforts for large-scale business or technology (preferred) transformations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences/channels
- Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms for effective dissemination of information
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex and sensitive communication situations with diplomacy and discretion
- Strong project management and organizational skills to manage multiple communication initiatives simultaneously
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Fluency in English Language - written & verbal
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's in Business Administration, or related field, with focus on communications, public relations, marketing, change management or a related field
- Experience in semiconductor industry a plus
Expected Salary Range
$92,100.00 - $174,900.00
