This position is a crucial part of the Global Operations and Supply Chain FP&A Leadership team, overseeing and coaching the Volume and Inventory FP&A team. The primary goal is to enhance value through superior decision support for our Manufacturing and Finance business partners.

The role is essential for meeting financial commitments and driving continuous improvements, standardization, and efficiencies in forecasting and reporting on Manufacturing Production Volumes and Inventory impacts. The successful candidate will lead the strategic direction of the organization through cross-functional partnerships with the Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams, developing processes to explain volume drivers in results and translate demand volume into financial forecasts.

A Day in the Life

Strategic Financial Leadership


  • Develop processes to translate manufacturing production volumes into financial forecasts to accurately forecast absorption accounts.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams to support cash flow analysis and trade-offs.
  • Partner with the global manufacturing finance team to develop reporting and processes to monitor volume drivers and explain P&L and Balance sheet impacts of production volumes

Functional Excellence and Business Partnering

  • Lead and prepare production volume analysis and forecasting presentations for various levels of management
  • Proactively partner with stakeholders in analyzing trends and anomalies in results
  • Cross-functionally prepare the AOP and quarterly forecasts to ensure demand signals are accurately translated into absorption forecast
  • Work with OUs and Portfolios to understand demand variability and potential impacts on future production volumes and inventory levels

Team Management

  • Lead and coach a global team of 6-7 Financial Analysts of varying levels and backgrounds, focusing on high-quality and impactful deliverables
  • Set strategic direction for the team and allocate work to capitalize on individual strengths, providing development opportunities while ensuring a balanced workload

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience
  • Experience leading teams and accomplishing work through others, recruiting, retaining, and developing talent
  • Fluent in English

  • Strong ability to partner with senior leadership and collaborate through others, facilitate decision-making activities, build relationship networks at all levels, and lead change
  • Leadership and high ethical performance standards
  • Understanding and implementation of strategy, shifting from tactical to strategic

  • Working experience supporting Manufacturing and familiarity with cost accounting principles
  • Experience with business intelligence and reporting systems would be an advantage

  • Strong communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence multiple diverse stakeholders
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills for creating actionable insights and analysis
