Job Description:
Infosys is seeking a Principal Java Consultant. As a Principal Java Consultant, you will anchor different phases of engagements primarily related to Java landscape. You will be responsible for the techno-functional solution of warehouse design, requirements specifications, consulting on functionalities implemented, testing, providing functional consultation on the application, integration, and reports of enterprise solutions for Java implementation with the objective of providing high-quality and value-adding solutions to customers within the guidelines, policies, and norms of Infosys. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 11 years of relevant Information Technology experience
- U.S. Citizens or those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply. We are not able to sponsor at this time.
- Location for this position is Beaverton, OR. This position may require travel to project/client location.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience in application development and support with cloud platforms such as GCP & Azure is a plus.
- Experience with web application support on NodeJS.
- Experience with Development/Support on Elasticsearch and Kibana is a plus.
- Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams namely, technical, business and management teams.
- Experience managing team size of 8-10 would be a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face .
