Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) invites applications for a Systems Analyst to join our Technology Integration department. This position is a full-time opportunity based out of our regional office located in Rockville, Maryland with a hybrid work model.

Reporting to a Senior Systems Analyst and Manager, the Systems Analyst will engage and collaborate with healthcare team members and physicians to analyze problems, develop software and application solutions, and coordinate implementations to meet business requirements. You will take ownership of technology products and utilize your Epic® expertise, analytical skills, and operational workflow knowledge to automate and standardize clinical workflows and improve the quality of care for patients.
You can expect to:
Design, configure, and customize Epic® system modules for software and application development
Lead and facilitate decision making to align the Epic® system to meet organizational needs
Partner with internal stakeholders to facilitate discussions that capture business and technical requirements and participates in the development of prototypes
Develop prototypes to increase end-user involvement and obtain user feedback, design and develop test scripts and materials for end-to-end workflow testing
Create custom SQL reports to analyze operational problems and ensure application solutions support business needs and direction as designed
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with business owners and other consulting resources
What is required:
Bachelors degree in related field is required
Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in Epic® modules and clinical information systems is required
Minimum of one (1) Epic® certification: Ambulatory, OpTime or ASAP is required
Experience in coding: SQL, Python, JavaScript, C-Sharp, Visual Basic, Mumps, M.E.A.N or equivalent object-oriented programming languages No more than 3 soft skills as requirement
Agile training or similar software development training or experience
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
Demonstrated creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
The ability to commute to Rockville, MD, on an as-needed basis
Candidates must either currently live in or be willing to relocate to the Washington D.C., Maryland, or Virginia area
Must provide proof of Covid booster vaccine (released in September 2023) and influenza vaccine as a condition of employment
