Job Description
As a Project Analyst, you will embody a hybrid role that encompasses aspects of a business analyst, business relations manager, and Quality Assurance within the project team. Your primary focus will be on product expertise, end-user support, and maintaining a robust technology ecosystem that ensures an exceptional guest experience. This position will be full-time, onsite, and is a contract renewed semi-annually.
What You'll Do
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Oracle Hospitality Cruise Property Management System
Comprehensive understanding of the product's technology stack and its enterprise interdependencies
Provide support to end users through UAT cycles, project assignments, help desk tickets, and work orders
Offer end-user support during the stabilization phase and ongoing operational support
Maintain development and test lab environments mimicking production
Create, update, and manage essential product documentation
Gather, summarize, and integrate customer feedback to enhance user experience
Contribute to the development of functional and technical Product Requirements Documents (PRDs)
Assist in planning and executing product launch initiatives
Prioritize building and maintaining positive relationships with guests
Outline business functions and address them with software solutions
Analyze competitive products and functionalities
Compile methods for measuring product reliability and availability
Assess the business impact of product reliability issues
Troubleshoot common problems by identifying needs and solutions
Determine essential installation and support resources and tools
What You'll Need
Required:
Product backlog management for defects and enhancements
Analyzing requirements and user stories
Estimating technology requests and conducting cost/benefit analysis
Defining context and sketching potential solutions
Maintaining vendor relations and adhering to product schedules
Developing and implementing the product roadmap
Crafting test cases for nonfunctional requirements
Ensuring current documentation for all products
Providing third-level production support
Keeping current with market trends to safeguard the product's competitive edge
Desired:
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
Proficiency with MS Excel, reporting tools (Crystal preferred), and database tools (Toad\SQL Developer)
Adaptability to change with an aptitude for adjusting to shifting priorities
Independent research skills and knowing when to escalate issues
Eagerness to learn and apply new technologies
Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
Awareness of data protection regulations (GDPR, PCI, PII)
Preferred experience in cruise and hospitality operations, including crew management, guest services, financial processes, front desk operations, and safety compliance
At least 2 years of experience with Oracle Hospitality Cruise software
2+ years of experience in the cruise industry or with cruise technologies
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred

Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
