Pilot: Gulfstream G-550 Lead Captain at Clay Lacy Aviation in Morrisville, North Carolina

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Lead Captain for our Part 91 Gulfstream G-550 based in Raleigh, NC (KRDU). The ideal candidate should have a track record of leadership capabilities and demonstrated crew and owner communications and management skills. A G-550 type rating is required.   

Candidates must reside within a two-hour drivable commute distance or be willing to relocate to satisfy this requirement.

Aircraft: Gulfstream G-550

Position Type: Full-time

Location:  Raleigh, NC

Operation: Part 91; approximately 250 to 300 hours annually

Compensation/Benefits: $285,000 to $310,000; fully paid medical/healthcare premium.

Requirements:

•

• Demonstrated Lead Captain experience.


• Minimum requirements include 5,000 hours of total time, 3,000 hours of PIC time, and 1,000 hours of Turbine time.


• ATP and Type Certification are strongly preferred with a minimum of 200 hours in Type.


• Prefer candidates within a two-hour drive time, however, commuters with reasonable commute time may be considered. Individuals considering relocation should indicate this on their resume or cover letter with an estimated relocation timeframe.


• Unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.

• Comply with all Federal Aviation regulations, company operations manual, operations specifications, standard operating procedures, and company policies & procedures.


• Familiarity and compliance with SMS (Safety Management System)


• Must be able to pass DOT/FAA drug screening, and background checks and submit to random drug/alcohol tests when required.


• Full, legible, color copies of all FAA certificates (both sides), including Medical as well as completion of a disclosure form, will be required as part of the application process.


• Additional duties as assigned.
