Location: Boise City, ID

Salary: $70,000.00 USD Annually - $95,000.00 USD Annually

Description:
Our client is seeking a Semiconductor Technician for a permanent/direct hire position in Boise, Idaho.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct training in Asia for the initial 3-6 months


• Monitor, inspect, calibrate, and maintain semiconductor process equipment


• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, collaborating with Japan headquarters


• Document maintenance activities, provide service reports, and manage software revisions


• Install and update equipment control software


• Participate in customer site equipment installations


• Manage stock levels of service parts and equipment inventory


• Provide training and support to customer engineering teams


• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams


• Escalate complex repair issues to senior team members

Qualifications:

• Associates degree required; Bachelor's preferred


• 4-5 years of relevant experience


• Experience with vacuum equipment, multi-chamber cluster systems, and robotics


• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings for troubleshooting


• PLC and software applications experience is a plus


• Analytical skills for problem resolution
  
  


• Ability to lift approx. 50 lbs.
  
  


• Bilingual communication skills (Japanese/English) beneficial


• Comfort with physical tasks and cleanroom environment
