Senior Accountant at The Judge Group Inc. in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee

Job Description:

Location: Red Boiling Springs, TN

Salary: $80,000.00 USD Annually - $90,000.00 USD Annually

Description: Our manufacturing client is currently seeking a Senior Accountant for their facility outside of Nashville TN. They are looking for someone who has experience working for a manufacturer or has worked for an accounting firm with a manufacturing client. They would like someone who has strong ERP experience and experience with MS Dynamics is highly preferred.


This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Assist with preparation of Financial Statements - monthly, quarterly and annually


• Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements


• Research and investigate discrepancies


• General Ledger Account Reconciliations


• Assists in preparation for internal and external audits


• Assist with budgets preparation and variance analysis


• Various ad-hoc reporting and other duties as assigned.


• Prepares bank payments


• Assists with payroll and social charges calculation, declarations and payment


• Conduct physical inventories


• Assist in month end close process


• Month end review of all balance sheet accounts


• Cash flow analysis and planning

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required


• At least Three (3) years Plant Manufacturing experience required


• Solid understanding of accounting concepts and GAAP


• Experience with ERP systems(required) - Dynamics preferred


• Advanced MS Excel skills (experience with VLOOKUPS and pivot tables)


• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)


• Strong time management skills


• Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills


• Ability to work independently as well as part of multi-departmental teams
