Role description:

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator with strong leadership abilities to join the Arcadis Construction Services group in Highlands Ranch, CO. This will be 100% traveling role at client sites across the United States. The role will support the Arcadis Construction Service business line. Projects will primarily consist of remedial excavation, remedial system installations, and general heavy equipment and labor associated with a wide variety of project needs. Job specific training will be provided by Arcadis, as needed.

Role accountabilities:

As a heavy equipment operator you will be responsible for the tools and equipment used during a given project including but not limited to maintenance and inspection of provided equipment, operating heavy equipment in a variety of weather conditions and geographical locations, operate equipment in a professional and safe manner, demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations; decrease turnaround times; and streamline work processes, work cooperatively to provide value and quality service.


  • Able to travel to project sites as needed (100% travel)
  • Ability to work at high altitude (above 8,000') on steep and varied terrain.
  • Be able to pass proficiency tests with a variety of wheeled and tracked heavy equipment.

In this role you must be willing to travel as needed and may include single overnight trips, possesses a valid driver license, be able to pass medical exam and medically cleared to wear negative pressure respirator, and be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. of equipment throughout 8-hour shift.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with wheeled heavy equipment
  • Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 40-hour HAZWOPER
  • OSHA 30 hour certification
