This is an important role for the Reno, NV site as it is responsible for the day to day work involved with managing inventory for multiple areas. This includes cycle counting, updating system as needed, and communicating needs to leadership. Also, other areas outside of inventory management may be needed and assigned based on site priorities.
What are we looking for? Education & Professional Qualifications
1+ years' experience in warehousing, manufacturing, logistics or supply chain.
Knowledge / Experience
Knowledge of SAP, JDA/RP WMS
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
Ability to analyze information to identify storage constraints, recommend actions to mitigate
Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Nexus)
Ability to learn new skills and identify efficiency opportunities within role
Flexibility to adapt to regularly changing priorities and quality issues
Willingness to do what is needed and flex day to day to meet site priorities
What will be your key responsibilities? As a site based logistics resource, this position requires working closely with warehouse leads, logistics coordinator, logistics managers, and site logistics managers to ensure inventory integrity and accuracy as well as proper plans to store, move, consume, and ship on hand inventory.
Cycle counting of site inventory
Ensure accurate on hand inventory records by updating systems (SAP, RP/JDA) as needed.
Updating line manager and/or others regarding inventory needs and/or concerns
Identifying stranded inventory and developing plans to remove from the site
Identify any storage issues with warehouse stored product. Collaborate with others for corrections as needed.
Review storage capacity to project storage capacity concerns. Communicate issues as needed.
Other activities as deemed necessary by line manager or site leadership.
