Job Description:

Are you passionate about people leadership, business operations, and supply chain management? Schneider Electric is offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Production Supervisor at our Lincoln, NE factory. As the Senior Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in driving performance excellence within QO/HOM Breaker assembly across 3 shifts. Your responsibilities will include maintaining safety, ensuring on-time delivery, achieving world-class quality, and coaching and developing employees.

This position will support our 1st shift operations. This position will carry the official title of Operations Supervisor.

What will you do?


  • Plan, supervise, and direct daily production operations for QO/HOM Breaker assembly across 3 shifts.

  • Utilize skills, work hours, materials, and workflow to achieve production and quality objectives.

  • Exchange timely information with other supervisors to ensure smooth interdepartmental product flow and workforce needs.

  • Instruct, train, orient, motivate, and assist employees to achieve production and quality objectives.

  • Provide information and assist managers, research and development, and mechanics in diagnosing tooling and equipment malfunctions.

  • Initiate efforts to reduce costs, simplify work processes, and improve methods or equipment.

  • Encourage employee communication and maintain an open-door policy.

  • Collaborate with all areas to implement world-class techniques, reduce fixed costs, connect production, and implement preventative maintenance.

  • Plan, direct, and control activities related to manufacturing operations, including safety, production, quality, lean manufacturing, interplant procurement, customer service, finance, and human resources.

  • Define department strategy and initiatives aligned with the company's goals.

  • Champion Lean Manufacturing Initiatives (Schneider Performance System) to drive continuous improvement throughout the plant.

  • Lead department activities for fostering a high-performance work culture and talent management.

  • Promote collaboration, diversity, and inclusion within the plant and the organization.


What qualifications will make you successful?

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required. Equivalent experience and skills can be substituted for education.

  • + 3 years of manufacturing operations leadership experience, overseeing 100-300 hourly employees.

  • Experience in applying Lean Manufacturing methodologies across multiple shifts.

  • Solid understanding of OSHA guidelines and a strong commitment to safety culture.

  • Ability to drive employee engagement through effective leadership, communication, and building respect at all levels of the organization.

  • ISO experience is preferred.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with a results-driven mindset.

  • Excellent PC/Tablet and system knowledge, including the ability to analyze data within an MRP system and cloud-based platforms (Tableau/AVEVA).

  • Ability to make effective assumptions and use data analysis to drive business results
