Key Responsibilities:


- Review project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates


- Analyze and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and other documentation to prepare estimates


- Work closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to understand project scope, timelines, and requirements


- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing


- Provide timely and accurate estimates for projects of various sizes and complexity


- Participate in project meetings and provide support as needed


Requirements:


- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field


- At least 3 - 5 years of experience in civil construction estimating


- Proficient in HCSS Heavy bid or applicable estimating software


- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment


- Ability to work independently and as part of a team


- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes


- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
