Construction Project Manager - Real Estate Developer - NYC at HAYS in BROOKLYN, New York

Job Description:

-Your new company-


This vertically-integrated real estate investment & development firm started in 2015, overcame a pandemic, and is really ready to blossom. The company owns and operates multifamily and mixed-use assets in Manhattan & Brooklyn. Towards the end of the summer, they are acquiring a 9-building portfolio and will also be kicking off their own internal construction arm! One of the first roles they need is a solid Project Manager to oversee the occupied rehab of these 9 properties.



-Your new role-


In your new role, you will first focus on a 120-unit renovation project as the lead ($100M+ project!). You will also be part of the creation of the firm's in-house construction arm. Getting in at this level would fast-track your career and would give you extremely important experience as you continue on your project management career path. In this capacity, you will oversee a team of 2 Supers and 1 APM (which we are in the process of finding now!).



-What you'll need to succeed-

• Local NYC construction project management experience


• Occupied rehab experience preferred


• Multifamily residential construction project experience (3+ years)


• Experience working for a general contractor or construction management firm


• Experience working on the owner side as well is preferred


• Construction-related degree
