Job Title: Legal Intern

Reports to: Sr. Paralegal

Location: Goleta, CA

Duration: 6-8 Weeks

The Role

College student Summer Interns are offered the opportunity to experience Deckers corporate Legal Team while gaining hands on professional experience and working on projects that build their skills. Over the course of Internship, Intern will rotate through Legal Focus Areas - each one building on the last and carrying through to the next. During each rotation Intern will have time for an interview with the Focus Area leader, join relevant meetings, and assist with chosen tasks. Tasks may carry over from week to week to allow Intern to maximize experience and support of each Focus Area.

Approximate Dates of this Internship are June 2024 through July 2024

Intern must provide own housing in the Goleta, CA area

Your Impact

The Intern will assist a team of lawyers, paralegals, and professional support staff in providing support for the Company's domestic and international business including UGG®, HOKA®, TEVA®, SANUK® and KOOLABURRA BY UGG®. Support activities will include shadowing and supporting the team with continuous improvement projects and other day-to-day tasks.

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
