Global Chemicals was built from several acquisitions and provides a full range of analytical reagents and discovery chemicals to Thermo Fisher's core research markets worldwide. Global Chemicals has been identified as a strategic growth area for the company with expansion opportunities in the US, Europe and developing markets, particularly Asia. Global Chemicals has 14 operational facilities in the US, Europe, and Asia, and sells a significant portion of its products through Thermo Fisher customers channels group in major Western markets.



A day in the Life:

• Workers primary responsibility is to successfully ship out orders of the day in a timely, safe and productive manner.


• Performs powered industrial truck pre-use safety inspection checklist.


• Reports malfunctioning powered industrial trucks and uses lockout/Tagout SOPs


• Directs, stages and places all material in or outside the building using proper material handling equipment.


• Picks, prepares, packages, documents, labels, and ships all material according to prescribed regulations and using accurate dispatching equipment.

• High school diploma or GED required.


• The successful candidate will have previous warehouse experience, including RF Scanning, Forklift operation, and may be required to use a respirator.


• Previous experience in a chemical environment in preferred.

• Candidate must be comfortable working in an environment with hazardous and non-hazardous materials.


• Effective verbal and written communication skills including detail orientation and accuracy in documentation.


• Ability to work alternately in a seated or standing position is required.
