Ultimate Staffing is hiring an HR assistant in Indio, CA.
This is a part-time position 4 hours a day/ 4 days a week
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Respond to all employee issues concerns at the restaurant level in a timely manner.
Completes all assigned tasks in a timely manner.
Consistent follow-up with all employee issues and concerns as assigned.
Completes all filings in timely manner.
Maintains employee corrective action forms and files on the Company Share Drive.
Prepares termination packets, including termination letters and collecting final wage calculations from the Payroll Dept.
Administers terminations of employment as needed.
Assists employees with a variety of HR related matters and concerns.
Assists Employee Relations Manager or Senior HR leadership with investigations and employee complaints.
Maintains data entries in multiple excel spread sheets.
Must be able to effectively communicate Company policies, procedures, and guidelines to a variety of restaurant employees.
Advises and trains employees in best employee relations practices and strategies for managing employee grievances and conflicts.
Supports administrations of Company compliance training programs.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school graduate or equivalent required.
Requires knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of Products and ability to learn multiple data entry platforms, including ADP, Navex, and HR Acuity.
Requires the ability to effectively communicate both written and orally.
Requires knowledge of spelling, grammar, punctuation, sentence/paragraph structure, and formatting.
Requires two - four years of clerical or administrative experience.
