Job Description: • CMC statistician working in pharmaceutical process development with process engineers and other CMC statisticians. • Unique opportunity for immersive engagement in statistics, process sciences and the business of pharmaceutical development. • Opportunity to develop communication and statistical consulting skills with frequent in person visits to Merck campus (flexible, with combination of on-site and remote working).

Qualifications: Education: PhD or MS degree in statistics/biostatistics or related discipline (e.g., industrial engineering) -- 0-2 years' experience. Required Skills and Experience: • Solid knowledge of statistical analysis methodologies and experimental design. • Working knowledge of statistical and data processing software (e.g., JMP, R, SAS). • Strong oral and written communication skills. Able to function effectively in a team environment. • Must also demonstrate the ability to learn, be proactive and motivated, and consistently focus on details and execution. Note: • Site/Work location - Both RAYWAY/KENILWORTH, NJ- by end of July, team is scheduled to move to Rahway, NJ. Need someone who can commute to both Rayway and Kenilworth, NJ • Hybrid schedule with plenty of flexibility. Schedule can be discussed with the manager when on assignment. • 100% REMOTE is NOT an option.
