This position works directly with internal business partners, IT leaders and external service providers, providing information and support on all aspects of IT cost management.
Primary Responsibilities:
Supports corporate and regional priorities and focused actions
Manages expense and capital budget information for IT cost centers
Reports quarterly IT spending for corporate and regional cost centers
Provides reports and visibility to recruiting monthly spending
Demonstrates ability to identify and simplify IT financial management processes
Optimizes IT cost center management and reporting
Manages and supports use of IT financial tools (i.e. Apptio)
May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description.
Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (Business Administration preferred) or equivalent experience
2 - 3 years of IT financial related experience with a focus on financial planning, expense management, and financial reporting and analysis highly preferred. Prior experience working in a corporate finance organization
Solid understanding of accounting knowledge/skills is required
Advanced and exceptional Excel experience is critical (Pivot Tables, Macros, etc). Proficient in PowerPoint, Access, and Hyperion. Previous experience with SAP a plus
Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions with an emphasis on excellent cycle time
Able to gather and organize data/info, making sense of the details for presentation
Excellent communication skills: able to clearly communicate complex financial information in an easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively through speech and writing
Prior experience working with a global operation
Must act as a liaison between other departments and IT to address required work
Must be able to work in a constant changing environment
Willingness and ability to travel, as necessary

Must wear proper personal protection equipment while on manufacturing floor
Travel to manufacturing facilities or customer locations when required
Equipment used requires proper training on the potential for and avoidance of injury
