Receive, investigate and respond to all customer inquiries regarding shipments, products, product pricing, and any service issues in a timely manner. Input orders and other relative data, review for accuracy/pricing, and respond to customer accordingly.
General Duties:
* Communicate with customers via phone and/or email concerning orders, pricing, returns, shipments, products, quotes and other service related concerns.
* Receive and enter sales orders
* Initiate communication with customers when necessary to advise on shipment dates, any shipment issues/discrepancies, or any additional information that may be necessary for the customer.
* Handle customers in a professional manner.
* Make changes to orders, backorders, quotes, customer returns, etc.
* Entering quote requests and any documentation required to accompany the quote.
* Obtain customer feedback as it relates to products and service.
* Communicate with our freight broker in regards to customer shipments.
* Maintain customer account notes.
* Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, and SKILLS:
Education and/or Experience:
* High School Diploma/Equivalency
* College degree preferred
Knowledge/Skills:
* Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products
* Exceptional writing, interpersonal and client service skills
* Detail orientated with superior organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
* Team player with the ability to collaborate with others
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
* Goal oriented, self-motivated and results driven
