What You Will Contribute:
Badger Meter is hiring a Continuous Improvement Operations Supervisor based out of our Racine location. This newly created role is responsible for assisting the plant leadership team in reaching operational and Environmental, Health and Safety goals while using continuous improvement tools and processes to drive the operational principle of a Simple, Visual, End to End operation.
Job Duties:
Evaluate, analyze and improve processes using lean manufacturing and six sigma principles to ensure excellence in safety, quality, delivery, cost, culture, and environment
Execute Environmental, Health and Safety compliance under direction of Corporate EHS Manager
Lead Kaizens and train fellow employees in leading Kaizen events and continuous improvement concepts
Transformation of the facility to a Visual Factory
Support a culture and mindset of Continuous Improvement
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Management or a related field required
5+ years of related experience in CI or Safety Coordination desired
Certification in CI preferred
Six Sigma Green Belt (SSGB) preferred
Qualifications:
Ability to lead Kaizen events
Intermediate proficiency with Value Stream Mapping
Familiarity with Poka Yoke/Error proofing required
Understanding of Total Productive Maintenance required
Understanding of EHS Compliance required
Familiarity with Project Management preferred

Work is performed indoors/outdoors; may be exposed to heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
Must be able to wear personal protective gear most of the day.
