The successful candidate for this position will be responsible fortechnical, management, and staff supportwithin the water group located in San Antonio, Texas. Typical projects include a wide variety of municipal water/wastewater/stormwater projects primarily involving the planning and design of pipelines, treatment facilities, pump stations, and storage facilities.Candidates should be skilled in managing multiple priorities, organizing time and projects, tracking budgets and meeting deadlines.

Your Role:

• Assist with the execution of projects from conceptual planning phases through final design plans, specifications, and cost estimates.

• Perform conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses.

• Prepare detailed engineering reports, supporting documents construction drawings, specifications and cost estimates,

• Ensure standard engineering practices and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various reports and design projects.

• Evaluate alternatives, resolve technical issues and interface with other engineering disciplines.

• Manage or lead technical design teams for compliance with scope, schedule and budget requirements, including coordination with the project manager, other design disciplines, and the client.

• Resolve questions, plan, coordinate, and execute work in a safe, timely, cost effective and compliant manner.

• Maintain existing client relationships and help develop new client and project opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.

• Professional Engineer (PE) License in Texas required, or ability to obtain within 6 months.

• 10+ years of related experience.

• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, to include Excel, Word and other engineering software related to duties outlined above.
