Role description:

As a Project Controls Manager you will be involved in scheduling, construction cost, preparing schedules, and performing schedule and cost impact analysis for infrastructure or public construction projects. Additionally, you will be providing project controls services on public construction projects.

Role accountabilities:


  • Ability to provide / produce Master schedule on a program level
  • Track program level master schedule and all related tasks
  • Develop preliminary project schedule
  • Review and analyze project schedules provided by General Contractors.
  • Review and identify critical path and if necessary, recovery schedules.
  • Understand and have experience in cost control management at both project and program level.
  • Review the contractor's baseline schedule and make recommendations for client approval
  • Track the contractor's progress versus the schedule
  • Provide written narrative of key schedule activities and potential schedule impact issues
  • Overall management responsibility for the schedule and budget control processes and the preparation of report data
  • Exercises independent judgment and evaluation
  • Provide program level controls for document management
  • Provide reporting support and production for various weekly, monthly and yearly program level reporting functions
  • Support of the Project Manager for the preparation of monthly project reporting

Key Skills:

  • Knowledge of P6, Excel, Power Bi and other related PMIS systems used in Program Controls.
  • Good communication
  • Good organization

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 10 years of experience in scheduling, construction cost, preparing schedules, and performing schedule and cost impact analysis for infrastructure or public construction projects.
  • BS/BA Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
