The Industrial Electrician effectively designs and develops all electrical services in the plant, coordinating projects and troubleshooting problems as necessary.
Essential Job Functions:
Investigate and repair electrical issues including PLC and VFD
Coordinate and design electrical schematics and drawings
Program for PLC and VFD
Review electrical requirements for plant projects
Work with outside contractors and obtain quotes for projects
Performs other duties as assigned
Run conduit and pull wires
Wire sizing
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have extensive knowledge of plant electrical distribution and service
Know building electrical codes and standards
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Experience with PLC hardware and panel design
Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and some programming
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
A high school diploma or GED is required. 3 to 5 years electrical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment is preferred. Must be able to obtain ME license from state.

Stand and walk for extended periods of time in a hot or cold environment
