What will you do

The Distribution Operations Co-Op will provide you with an opportunity to deliver solutions to consumers in real-time! The co-op will be a key member of our operations team and help to achieve a key objective of timely inbounding into the US Consumer Distribution Centers. This will be done through collaboration with key business partners (3PL Distribution, Supply Planning, Franchise Integration, and Regional Transportation Organization).

The Co-op will have opportunity to work independently and cross-functionally to identify, implement, and own process changes and/or cost improvements. This role also includes responsibility for resolving technical issues within SAP to prevent inbounding delays. Base business is the priority of this role with adhoc project opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Full ownership and publication of daily/weekly reports in support of proactive issue resolution for our full network of distribution centers. Automation through use of Excel VBA or Power Bi is also supported where opportunities are identified within each report.

• Daily operational support to resolve "live" inbound issues at each Distribution Center, through partnership with internal team members and interfacing systems (SAP, Warehouse Management System).

• Monthly Inbound performance management (KPI) dashboard consolidation and reviews

• Weekly support of system driven process for DC to DC inventory transfers, including: Intake request processing from Supply Chain Planning, data analysis and standardization, truckload building, and in-depth knowledge of the end-to-end process between (SAP, Transportation Management System, WMS).

• Weekly inventory sync report (management) and resolution (support) between SAP/WMS systems

• Identify and implement automation solutions in an effort to streamline manual activities across team responsibilities and areas of ownership.

• Adhoc project support for both internal team and cross-functional initiatives

Qualifications

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

o Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree and in their junior/senior year.

o Candidate must be able to work full time (40 hours per week) during the duration of the co-op position.

o On-site role based in Skillman NJ. Candidate must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Desired Qualifications

o Focused degree in Engineering (strongly preferred) or Management Information Systems (preferred)

o Knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint

o Strong communication skills using email, phone, face-to-face

o Ability to manage time and prioritize workload independently

o Experience in data analysis

o Ability to learn concepts and processes quickly

o Ability to work independently or in a team setting

The anticipated base pay for this position is between $20.00 and $27.50 but will be based on candidate's program year, discipline, degree and/or experience.
