We are currently seeking a Safety, Quality, and Compliance (SQC) Coordinator to join our New Berlin, WI team. This person will provide advice and counseling on compliance with regulatory and company safety, health and quality standards, laws, policies and procedures. The SQC analyzes and identifies trends based on experience, historical data, and all available sources of information. They will assist with the deployment of compliance, safety, and quality department initiatives.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform safety and quality inspections on regional work crews.
  • Meet expectations of safety and quality inspections as set by the department directors.
  • Verify and report status of field crews regarding their adherence to safety and quality procedures and policies.
  • Report and investigate incidents.
  • Perform root-cause analysis on any serious incidents; find preventive measures, and communicate the results to the management team.
  • Perform detailed investigations on any incident that results in a task procedure departure, violation or failure.
  • Work closely with department directors to discuss progress and issues specific to the area.
  • Coordinate monthly safety meetings in conjunction with area management.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years' of safety, quality, gas utility work, or related field.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products - experience creating Excel spreadsheets, sorting data, formatting, and using basic formulas.
  • Ability to use an iPhone app to record and report worksite information.
  • Possess good oral communication, especially the ability to clearly and directly speak to a group.
  • Ability to plan and execute activities to meet established goals.
  • Day travel from jobsite to jobsite; up to 20% overnight travel is possible.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical or post-secondary education in related field.
  • Additional 1+ year related experience in a safety or quality role.
  • Safety or quality auditing; root-cause analysis; training and coaching skills. Accomplish objectives through directing others.
