Position Summary

This position is a key member of our Quality Team and will be responsible to develop, implement and maintain corrective action system, including supporting procedures. To act as a technical resource, especially in the areas of problem solving in variable situations requiring analytical evaluation and constructive thinking for manufacturing and engineering. To maintain the Doc and Data system and ensure changes are in compliant with TS16949 and ISO 14001 Requirements. Continuous Improvement of both systems are an ongoing function of this position.

Position Responsibilities

1. Continuous improvement - drive the dimensional/measurement system to reduce detection/increase prevention costs, resulting in an overall improvement.
2. Doc and data - maintain the inspection system to comply ISO17025, TS16949, and corporate requirements.
3. Initial containment on customer concerns and follow through on dimensional verifications.
4. Pareto reject causes on the Right First Time charts to help drive improvement.
5. On site visits to customer locations as required.
6. Assist Quality Manager during customer audits.
7. Responsible for supplier audits as required.

Education/Experience

1. Strong knowledge of Excel and Word with good keyboard skills
2. Quality systems and procedures knowledge
3. Ability to maintain confidentiality
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills
5. Understanding of manufacturing processes
6. Excellent print reading ability, including GDT requirements
7. Strong knowledge of MSA requirements
8. College Degree and or equivalent work experience
