Primary Duties / Responsibilities:

• Work with Sanitation Supervisor and QA Manager on Sanitation PM programs.

• Work on and develop effective filler and equipment cleaning procedures.

• Monitor plant sanitation and good manufacturing practices daily so that high standards of sanitation are maintained. Will give the intern valuable experience and understanding of food sanitation and Plant GMPs.

• Update SOPs and lab training paperwork.

• Other assignments in the QA department as needed.

Requirements



The qualified candidate will be a sophomore, junior or senior in the fall of 2024 with a degree focus inFood & Nutrition, Quality Systems, Food Science, Food Manufacturing, Microbiology.
