Job Description:

Schedule: Part-time 32 hours. Saturday, Sunday, and Monday 10:30 am - 7:00 pm; Tuesday 11:30 am - 7:30 pm




*Please note that public transportation does not service the hospital on Sundays so alternate transportation is required for your Sunday shifts.



The Food Service Worker performs a variety of functions related to the safe assembly, distribution, and service of food for Hospital patients, visitors, and staff. The primary task for this role is delivering food trays to patients.


Position includes:


  • Assembling, delivering, and retrieving patient meal trays

  • Working in the dish room

  • Cleaning floors and equipment

  • Restocking workstations

  • Light food preparation

Qualifications


  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Ability to read English to follow recipes, read menus/meal tickets, and job flows.

  • Ability to speak proficient English.

  • Great customer service skills required.

  • Must be able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to push catering carts, carry/move items up to 25 LBS, bend, lift, and reach

  • Ability to stand in a stationary position and/or walk quickly for long periods

  • Staff adheres to all I.C.A.R.E. Standards
