Patient Care Coordinator- Part Time at Cooley Dickinson Hospital (CDH) in Northampton, Massachusetts

Job Description:

The Patient Care Coordinator in Medical Infusion Clinic at Cooley Dickinson has responsibility and accountability for scheduling appointments, completing medical history requests, and providing administrative services for the Medical Infusion Clinic. This position would also work as the liaison between the clinic, external referring practices, pharmacy and the patients to coordinate care.


This position is part of the 1199SEIU Bargaining Unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.


This position reports to the Senior Administrative Manager and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.



Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required


• 1-2 years of experience in a medical practice preferred


• Demonstrated ability to type, as well as the ability to operate business office equipment including copy machines and fax machines required


• Demonstrated proficiency in PC applications including Windows and word processing required


• Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills required


• Demonstrated ability to work independently required
