How you will make contributions that matter...

• Assists with daily and monthly financial transactions related to Accounts Payable, such as vendor invoices, payments, and accruals.


• Works with plant buyers to manage purchase orders and contracts. Assures that these transactions are handled in accordance with the Saputo accounting policies & procedures.


• Assists with weekly plant forecasts and analyzes variance reports.


• Assists with month and year-end close activities.


• Assists with monthly plant P&L with results explanations.


• Coordinates and reconciles monthly physical inventories.


• Supports internal and external audits.


• Reviews Bill of Materials (BOMs) for new products and ensures that they are accurately costed.


• Performs other duties as assigned.

You are best suited for the role if you...

• High School Diploma or Equivalent. Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.


• Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment required; dairy processing background preferred.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer-based accounting ERP applications. SAP experience preferred.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs; ability to lead others through change.


• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, in a fast-paced environment.


• Skill in organization and prioritization, and attention to detail.


• Strong team player and leader with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines.
