The Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes at Nemours Children's Health, Jacksonville Florida is seeking a Full-time BC/BE Pediatric Endocrinologist.

We are seeking an outstanding clinician which could be at any academic rank, either junior or mid-career. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a talented team with nine endocrine faculty, five APRNs, six endocrine nurses, over 6 diabetes educators, as well as a team of medical and administrative assistants that assist us in the care of our patients. As the only providers of comprehensive endocrine care in the region we have unparalleled access to many types of endocrine pathology. Our pediatric diabetes program, about 1,200 patients to-date, has a significant interest in advanced diabetes technology. We also have a three-year Pediatric Endocrine fellowship program, one fellow per year, in collaboration with the University of Florida.

Our program is the premier center for the care of children and adolescents with endocrine disorders and diabetes in northeast Florida and southeast Georgia and part of Nemours Children's Health, a tertiary health care system for children and adolescents in different locales in Florida and Delaware, supported by the trust of Alfred I. Dupont.

We are closely integrated with our partner hospital, Wolfson Children's Hospital, a state-of-the art 240-bed facility directly adjacent to our eleven-story outpatient clinic on the banks of the beautiful St. John's river in Jacksonville, FL. The hospital has a well-staffed Clinical Research Center where complex physiologic and interventional studies can be carried out in children.

Nemours Children's Health, Jacksonville is affiliated with the Mayo Clinic/Mayo Foundation, which has a very large campus located in town, and our faculty has full academic appointments conferred through the Mayo system. Jacksonville is the northernmost city on Florida's east coast, located on the ocean and sprawling on the banks of the river, with a beautiful temperate climate and ample access to many water-based activities.
