The Re-Entry Coordinator will oversee the program creation and ongoing success of the First Step Act (FSA) including supervision of direct staff. The Coordinator and their staff will provide employment-focused pre and post-reentry services to those currently incarcerated within a prison or contracted facility as well as those under legal supervision while in the community. This position will need to maintain team agility in service delivery as each participant’s successful phase completion will vary. It will be critical for the Coordinator to collaborate with other Goodwill departments and/or community organizations to ensure appropriate services are delivered with excellence. They will act as a liaison to funding sources, families, customers, employers and other community organizations and stakeholders.will oversee the program creation and ongoing success of the First Step Act (FSA) including supervision of direct staff. Duties include but are not limited to:



  • Plan, direct, and evaluate the work of program staff, volunteers, and students/interns.

  • Based off participant’s phase completion, utilize and/or develop and update the Individual
    Development Plan(IDP) for participant(s); retrieving or inputting into database as applicable.

  • Facilitate a job club within contracted facilities and in the community presenting best practices
    and focusing on retention seeking efforts.

  • Deliver PA DOC’s Pathway to Success curriculum and other curricula as assigned. Integrating
    interactive, hands-on lesson plans to appeal to a variety of learning styles while making necessary
    adaptations to fit the population being served.


Travel Required: Yes, travel is required.


Schedule: Monday - Friday, schedule varies based on participant needs. 


External Hiring Range:  $45,760.00 to $47,590.40


Retention Incentive: $1500 after 6 months of employment and $1500 after 1 year of employment 


Qualifications: 



  • Masters degree and 1year experience related to providing human/social services and case management required; Experience with justice involved and incarcerated individual(s) strongly preferred.

  • Bachelors degree and 3 years experience related to providing human/social services and case management required; Experience with justice involved and incarcerated individual(s) strongly preferred.

  • Associates degree and 5 years experience related to providing human/social services and case management required; Experience with justice involved and incarcerated individual(s) strongly preferred.


Additional Qualifications: 



  • Candidates are expected to provide current valid clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprints Clearance, and PATCH) upon hire.
