Purpose or General Objective:To process all salvage textile product (BALE).
Essential Duties:
Continually process bale carts per company standardsDistinguish and sort out merchandise that does not go into the baler, such as shoes, purses and hard goodsOperate Baler and tile off bales following all safety requirementsNotify supervisor of any maintenance or repair needs of the balerProvide accurate information on any required paperworkMaintain a safe and orderly work environment, while following company safety policies and proceduresClean work area the end of shift according to 5 minute drillsMaintain a minimum rate of 1 bale per hourWork productively without close supervisionWork cooperatively and professionally with all employees, participants, volunteers and vendors

Additional Duties:
Other duties as assigned by the Charlotte Plant Supervisor, Transportation Supervisor, Operations Manager, Retail Director or Vice President of Retail and Donated Goods.
