Now hiring a CNC Router Operator for 1st shift at our Solon location. Granex is a national industry leader in custom stone solutions for residential, commercial, hospitality, restaurant, and specialty projects.

The CNC Operatoris responsible for safely operating the Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine and Computer Assisted Design (CAD) program, ensuring a high-level of production, accuracy and quality. Operate computer number control (CNC) machine and Computer Assisted Design (CAD), including both the accurate programming and cutting of product, ensuring company protocol and process are adhered to at all times during operation.Perform setup and teardown of machines.Loading materials onto machines by use of an overhead Crane.Working as part of a team to ensure prioritization of work throughout the day/week.Complete routine inspections of CNC machine to ensure proper operation and maintenance, notifying facility manager immediately of any issues or concerns during the inspection process.Notify appropriate manufacturer regarding machine inquires and malfunctions to ensure resolution and continued production.Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow all prescribed safety procedures.Assist in other work areas as needed and directed.

CNC Operator Requirements:
CNC experience is not necessary, training will be providedCAD experience preferred but not necessaryStrong attention to detailAbility to work effectively both independently as well as part of a teamPrevious material handling experience with overhead crane is useful but not necessary.Ability to be regularly exposed to very loud noise levels, wet and humid working conditions, and fumes/airborne particlesMust be able to regularly lift 100+ poundsMust be able to stand, walk, push,. bend, grasp, reach and perform repetitive wrist, hand or finger movementsRegular attendance is a necessary and essential function
