Summary of Role:

GLOBALFOUNDRIES Fab8 is seeking a talented and motivated Test Engineer to be a part of the Reliability Engineering team engaged in advanced technology reliability characterization. As a Reliability Test Engineer, you will be responsible for wafer and package level reliability testing to support technology development and qualification. You will ensure optimum tool utilization and on-time data delivery. You will be working closely with the FEOL, BEOL, and Product reliability engineering teams. The location of this role is Fab8.



Essential Responsibilities:



  • Perform wafer level reliability and package level reliability testing (HCI, BTI, TDDB, EM..) to support technology reliability development and qualification.


  • Execute electrical measurements using semi-automatic and fully automatic probers.


  • Develop test programs; maintain existing test capabilities as well as bring up new test capabilities as needed to support new technology reliability assessments.


  • Manage test schedules, priorities, and capacity/resources to assure all reliability assessment and qualification testing is completed on time.


  • Increase operational efficiency through standardization and automation.


  • Responsible for equipment management, calibration, and preventive maintenance.


  • Responsible for safety, ESD, and Quality Management System compliance.





Other Responsibilities:



  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.


  • Continue to develop and grow by participating in training, mentoring and learning opportunities offered by GLOBALFOUNDRIES.




Required Qualifications:



  • Education - BS or MS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Microelectronics field.


  • Experience - 1 to 2 Years in semiconductor device characterization or reliability engineering.


  • Hands-on experience with the lab equipment such as Cascade/Accretech probers and Agilent/Keithley testers.


  • Proficient in Visual Basic, C#, C++.


  • Strong knowledge/understanding of semiconductor device operations and device reliability failure mechanisms.


  • Demonstrated excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate well with engineering and management teams.


  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a globally matrixed team or environment.


  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments.





Preferred Qualifications:



  • 2+ years of experience with device reliability testing and lab equipment.


  • 2+ years of hardware test program development.


  • Solid understanding of reliability physics; proficiency in programing/developing reliability test programs.





Expected Salary Range

$49,400.00 - $103,000.00
