Summary of Role:

We are seeking candidates for the position of Cleans Technologist with a strong passion for developing new technologies and advanced manufacturing, to expand GF's technology portfolio.
.



Essential Responsibilities:

• Collaborate across product development and process integration to determine and develop next generation technology etch processes and roadmap
  
  


• Develop and execute experiments to progress R&D projects in a High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) foundry environment.
  
  


• Collaborate with experts across GF fabs to promote sharing and learning across fabs
  
  


• Collaborate with Equipment Supplier to determine industry capabilities and evaluate options applicable to GF technology roadmap
  
  


• Coach and mentor other engineers in the organization
  
  


• Follow up with cross-fab benchmarking activities to engage the best-in-campus practices across fabs.
  
  

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
  
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Education - Masters or Ph.D. Degree in electrical / electronic / Mechanical / Microelectronics / Chemical process Engineering / Chemistry / Physics or related field.
  
  


• Experience - Minimum 8 year of working experience in Cleans Process Development
  
  


• Skills- Knowledge and hands on experience with Cleans, chemistries, platforms and technologies.
  
  


• Travel - Up to 10%
  
  


• Fluency in English Language - written & verbal.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience - Worked in automated 300mm fabrication facility.
  
  


• Education - PhD. in Chemical Engineering
  
  


• Skill- Familiar with industry patent processes
  
  


• Project management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  
  


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  
  


• Strong planning & organizational skills.
  
  

Expected Salary Range

$104,000.00 - $198,000.00


The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
