Role:


Three week program for UT Austin students to complete a project within our Network group.


Responsibilities



  • Focus on delivering a solution for the three-week project you and your teammates will be working on

  • Focus on growing as a young professional – learn the engineering rigor necessary to support application reliability, scalability, maintainability, extensibility, portability, and security.

  • Develop your productivity skills by learning source control, editors, the build pipeline, and other tools, as well as testing best practices

  • Tackle well-defined tasks, commit, and deliver with the guidance of project leader.

  • Embrace Change and adapt to new technologies

  • Graciously accept feedback and learn from everything you do

  • Self-motivated individuals with a passion for learning, who can adapt quickly, communicate well, and enjoy working in a diverse team

Education/Certifications  



  • Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or related field, from a four-year college or university


Experience/Minimum Requirements  



  • Software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

  • Exceptional verbal, written and listening communication skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and demeanor


Reports to: Director of Infrastructure and Technology, Robotic Solutions Engineer


Work Plans: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office on Monday through Thursday.  On Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home.
