Job Description:


Under the general supervision of a Manager, the Engineer Helper provides assistance to engineers with various engineering duties. Incumbents may be assigned specific projects or may act as part of a team on a larger project. Some latitude for independent judgment is possible.



RESPONSIBILITIES



Essential Job Duties:



  • Participates in the development and execution of engineering projects. This may include design, implementation, testing.

  • Provides statistical reports and data on engineering projects to carefully document the process, provide necessary invoicing, purchase needed materials and equipment.

  • Completes projects requiring engineering and technical ability as assigned.

  • Makes sound decisions on minor problems related to the work being performed based on established guidelines and principles and supervisor guidance.

  • May prepare project cost estimates and material and labor requirements for project manager.

  • May perform other duties as assigned






QUALIFICATIONS



Skills, Education, and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering discipline.

  • One or more years of related work experience in the field of engineering strongly desired.

  • Ability to use various pieces of equipment related to the maintenance, electrical and mechanical trades.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to function as a team member in a demanding service environment.

Salary: $35.68/hr. - $37.68/hr.

The hourly rate is between $35.68/hr and $37.68 per hour, and the anticipated annual base compensation range for this position will be $74,214.4 - $78,374.4 inclusive of required overtime.
