Responsibilities:
Effectively Communicate, and support the mission, vision, values, goals, and strategies in daily operations.
Set clear, meaningful, and attainable objectives that are aligned with the organizational goals.
Delegate tasks according to team members' strengths and interests.
Ensure staff have the skills and resources to be successful.
Provide staff with coaching, training and opportunities for growth to improve their skills.
Maintain fairness and consistently in staff treatment.
Share accountability when delegating and involve staff in setting performance goals.
Oversee employee and client schedules to ensure efficient organization and communication.
Handle emergency situations with flexibility of both time and assignment.
Requirements:
Degree and a minimum of 2 years of human service-or related direct care experience in a residential setting; OR
Degree and a minimum of 2.5 years of experience; OR
School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 3 years of experience solid work experience in similar field or relatable to working with youth.
Example- Human Services fields- Residential treatment centers, OCFS Facilities is very helpful, security guard experience welcome.)
Valid NYS Driver's License required.
Must meet agency driving and insurance standards.
Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed.
