Position Summary

The Sr. Coordinator, Special Packs coordinates all aspects of the Special Packs and Rework department, leading the department to success by meeting or exceeding productivity targets. This role is the first level of escalation and decision making for unforeseen or abnormal situations that the Special Packs Team members encounter. The Sr. Coordinator, Special Packs is expected to make decisions that align with the strategy and goals of the business.

As part of this role, the Sr. Coordinator, Special Packs will advise the Special Packs Supervisor on business process enhancements and opportunities.  A key component of this role is leadership and continuous improvement.  This role will be tasked to lead and coordinate various aspects of the Special Packs department and provide recommendations for improvements to safety, efficiency, cost, and customer service.  Timely order fulfillment and personnel support is crucial to the overall success of the LDC in servicing our customers. This Sr. Coordinator, Special Packs will set a positive example for safety, quality, service & reliability.  This role will work closely with internal business partners and customers to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment by the Special Packs department.

Responsibilities


  • Lead the Special Packs team to achieve and surpass department standards and goals for Safety, Cost, Productivity, Efficiency, including Method Changes and On-time performance.

  • Control and manage the flow of work to the operator level focusing on surpassing our target KPI’s.

  • Proactively track and communicate progress toward meeting KPI’s and customer orders.

  • Analyze KPI data to drive continuous improvement recommendations.

  • Work close with Warehouse, Export Coordinators and International Team Members to fulfill customer orders OTIF

  • Work with other Coordinators and technicians to standardize processes.

  • Build strategic working relationships with coworkers to promote mutual team benefits and support for onsite departments.

  • Communicate effectively, concisely, and constructively, both verbally and in writing. Must be timely and accurate with distribution of information.

  • Identify, analyze and resolve issues affecting the Special Packs department’s productivity

  • Standardize and propose and execute improvements to business processes, as necessary.

  • Ensure a safe working environment by executing and supporting safety initiatives and related training and participation in safety meetings.

  • Utilize applicable warehouse and company systems, SAP EWM, IM, production support, shipping, timekeeping, cycle-counting and safety and ISO procedures.

  • Collaborate with team members to reach an optimum level of efficiency.

  • Participate in daily meetings with team and leaders. (i.e., Visibility Board, Workload Status, Scheduling).  Willing to provide feedback, observations and suggestions regarding quality, safety, efficiency, and collaboration.

  • Track and input daily metrics.

Minimum Qualifications


  • 5+ years of logistics/supply chain/analyst experience

  • Must possess strong potential, high emotional intelligence, and be passionate about continuous learning and development.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with co-workers, related internal functions, external partners, and on project teams.

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, & problem-solving skills required.

  • Professional oral and written communication skills required, including presenting data and analysis clearly to management.

  • Strong Microsoft Office computer skills required. Experience with ERP Systems, particularly SAP, a plus.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or University majoring in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Business or equivalent working experience.

  • Previous Leadership/Supervisory Experience

  • Food and Beverage Industry knowledge/experience

  • Project Management / Agile Certification

Physical Requirements/Work Environment


  • May be exposed to loud noise.

  • Must be able to work indoors/outdoors, lift, and sit for long periods of time.

  • Ability to lift 55lbs regularly.

  • Travel approximately 10%.

The salary range for this role is:

$26.96 - $38.80

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
