Position Summary:

As a Training and Development Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the onboarding process of new team members and the continuous development of existing staff. Working closely with the Training and Development leadership, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and evaluation of training programs aimed at enhancing employee skills and performance. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities.

SHIFT
  • Monday - Thursday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
  • Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm

RESPONSIBILITIES

Training Program Coordination:
  • Coordinate training sessions for new hires, ensuring all necessary materials and resources are prepared.
  • Schedule training sessions, ensure necessary equipment is prepared, and manage logistical arrangements.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of training modules, presentations, and workshops.

Onboarding and Orientation:
  • Facilitate orientation sessions for new employees, providing them with essential information about company policies, procedures, and culture.
  • Conduct training sessions on specific job roles, responsibilities, and expectations.

Performance Monitoring and Evaluation:
  • Collaborate with managers to monitor the progress of new hires during the probationary period, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of training programs through feedback mechanisms and performance metrics.

Employee Development:
  • Identify skill gaps and training needs within the organization and assist in developing training plans to address them.
  • Support the implementation of career development initiatives to foster continuous learning and growth among employees.

Administrative Tasks:
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and feedback.
  • Prepare training materials, presentations, and reports as required.
  • Assist in the coordination of training-related logistics, such as travel arrangements and accommodations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree, or alternatively, 1-3 years of demonstrated experience in training coordination or a closely related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to travel within Northeast Ohio >50%
