The Resident Services Manager is responsible for providing quality customer service to the apartment community. This position serves as the main contact for resident issues and renewal programs in accordance with Company and Fair Housing guidelines. Exhibits strong commitment to the service needs of the internal and external customer. Represents the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Essential Job Functions:


  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date resident and property files.

  • Handles all resident issues in an efficient and professional manner to include, but not limited to, complaints and lease violations.

  • Handles the Renewal Program to include letters, follow-up, call backs on notices and ensures lease documents are properly executed.

  • Maintains a strong understanding of the community, specials and floor plans. 

  • Responsible for overseeing maintenance issues to include, but not limited to, scheduling, follow-up and closing completed requests.

  • Assist with leasing job duties, including touring prospective residents and preparation of lease agreements, as directed to meet business need.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications/Skills:


  • Strong understanding of Fair Housing guidelines and leasing documents

  • MS Office Word/Excel experience

  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people and customers

  • A valid driver’s license may be required

  • Where required by law, must have state leasing license or ability to obtain the required license(s) within the timeframe required by law

Desired Qualifications/Skills:


  • Associates degree in business, marketing or related field

  • Previous Apartment leasing experience

  • Yardi Voyager experience

Work Schedule:  8am-5pm or 9am-6pm, Monday-Friday with rotating weekends; (hours may vary to meet the business needs of the property).

This job generally operates in a professional office environment, but may also occasionally operate in an outdoor environment.  While performing the duties of this job, employees must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time, occasionally move about the office, constantly operate a computer and other office equipment, communicate regularly and effectively with others, both written and verbally, and may occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.

This position requires close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading. 

The ability and means to travel locally, overnight, in specific regions or states via automobile and airplane may be required.
