We are in search of a dynamic and skilled Software Development Engineer to join our development teams, contributing to the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
In this role, the Software Engineer will collaborate closely with program managers, product owners, and scrum teams to ensure the proper prioritization and implementation of new features.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop innovative features using C# and React Web for web applications.
Collaborate effectively with scrum teams and product owners to identify new features and resolve issues.
Report progress, improvements, and defects to key stakeholders by coordinating with scrum teams.
Collaborate within a small team to construct an internal system for tracking approvals and the progression of capital expenditures and substantial purchases.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software development (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Visual Studio, SQL)
Proficiency in API development.
Experience with React Web development, including Single Page Applications (SPAs), and proficient in debugging using browser developer tools.
Familiarity with jQuery, JavaScript, HTML 5, and CSS.
Knowledge of Responsive Design Principles.
Experience working within an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
Excellent oral and written communication skills to facilitate effective communication with diverse teams and management.
Strong problem-solving ability, including research, analysis, and expertise in devising innovative solutions.
Data modeling, indexes, stored procedures.
Proficiency in complex joins, inserts, updates, and optimization techniques.
Object-oriented programming using C# in the Visual Studio IDE.
Version control systems, preferably Git or TFVS.
Exceptional organizational skills, motivation, and a sense of urgency.
Proficiency in learning and enhancing event-driven object-oriented code.
