Working as a core member of our Industrial & Environment commercial team, you will play a key role in the development of our service offering in the Chemical industry. Collaborating with our affiliates globally, you will help to identify specific industry trends, develop market segment action plans and help to grow our client base.




Moreover, you will:



  • Develop large / global accounts where SGS can leverage scope and network to provide solution-based packages;

  • Enhance worldwide revenue, profit and market share with identified multinational accounts, through both existing and new business;

  • Identify accessible potential and develop account strategy with a clear roadmap to penetrate new service areas, geographies and sites, while developing a network of contacts by key stakeholders;

  • Formalize and deploy sales plans in collaboration with SGS affiliates and business teams;

  • Act as the commercial interface between a multinational client and SGS network and monitor lead management by our affiliates;

  • Monitor leads from the account into our network and ensure compliance with defined timelines and quality requirements;

  • Facilitate effective coordination of job orders and enquiries between SGS global service teams involved in the execution of the contract;

  • Arrange kick-off meetings and induction trainings with client and the SGS network;

  • Attend regular meetings with clients for business development, marketing, technical governance, performance reviews and resolution of conflicts;

  • Identify unaddressed pains and new needs in the target industry, qualify potential additional business, define technical and organizational solution and services / capacity development plans;

  • Collaborate with SGS affiliates and Tender Back Office to ensure definition of service solutions and timely preparation of proposals for targeted accounts.




Qualifications





  • Knowledge of industrial operations in the Industrial Safety, Plant Maintenance & Asset Integrity Management and Industrial Projects ideally in the Chemical industry or other process industries;

  • Minimum 10-year experience in the assigned market segment or similar industries, preferably in companies offering services in the field of consulting, quality, safety, maintenance, asset integrity and other technical or industrial services;

  • Familiar with matrix structured international organizations advantageous;

  • International exposure at senior management level with major international and regional companies within the assigned global market segment desirable;

  • Fluent in English.
