Job Description



Our client is looking for a Mechanical inspector that will focus on inspecting installed new piping systems according to the design drawings and technical specification.


This is a field position where the Inspector is expected to inspect 80% of the time.


This contract will start later in April and last 8-12 months.



Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Welding inspector. **Must be certified as an American Welding Society CWI.


• 
  Must have an API 570 certification and 10 years of experience.


• The ideal candidates will have inspection experience in the Oil & Gas industry and with piping systems.


• Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate and timely manner.


• Candidates must be proficient in using several types of computer software (Word, Excel. PowerPoint & Outlook).


• Candidates must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills including grammar and composition.


• Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail
