Truterra Field Data Specialist

Truterra Field Data Specialist (Full-Time at 75% - 30 to 35 hours per week)

This position is fully remote (virtual)

Description:

The Truterra Field Data Specialist is a full-time position that works with the data coordination team to support Truterra's data management services. The Truterra Field Data Specialist will provide data management services for an assigned territory of ag retailers. This role is crucial to our goal of financially rewarding farmers for implementing sustainable field management practices that help improve our environment. This role will also provide project management oversight, data-related training, and coaching for retailers. The Field Data Specialist position is full-time remote position.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting management of Truterra program timeline and milestones


• Providing frequent data management timeline updates to Data Manager for overall program tracking

• Building data management strategy within ag retail settings and providing oversight to implementation and tracking


• Communicating directly with retailers and/or growers to collect field management data and maintaining communications throughout the process


• Ability to quickly form strong relationships with key partners, ag retailers and/or growers


• Accurately learn Truterra Sustainability software and submit data into sustainability software system and data management platform


• Reporting any retailer and/or grower concerns or questions to the team and relaying answers back to the retailer or grower


• Actively participate in regular virtual team meetings to provide progress updates


• Ability to offer data collection and reporting support


• In-person meeting attendance as needed with ability to travel up to quarterly


• Supporting data management strategy by providing feedback for future tools and willingness to test new tools


• Accurately QA'ing data collected and entered

Required Experience & Education

• High school diploma or GED


• Basic cropland production agricultural knowledge and/or background


• Experience using Microsoft Excel


• Experience using Microsoft Office


• 
  Preferred: Prior experience in Truterra's data collection effort

Hourly rate: $31.05
